The Active Control Technology for Quick Couplers (ACT ^QC) system was developed in response to the increasing safety concern with quick
coupler operation. The new ACT ^QC system focuses on educating and assisting the operator with the coupling and uncoupling procedures while not increasing cycle times.

ACT ^QC directs the operator through step-by-step, interactive instructions while alerting them to any safety precautions that need to be followed. Graphical illustrations and buttons reinforce the on-screen text instructions, enhancing the operator experience. More critical operations such as unlocking the coupler require operator confirmation, helping eliminate operator error.
